Leasingham Classic Clare Sparkling Shiraz
It genuinely saddens me to see so many great Accolade wines in the clearance houses at the moment. Thankfully not this one! A particularly creamy, soft and enticing sparkling shiraz, with a magnificent seven years of maturity softening its blackberry and mulberry fruits and building complexity of high cocoa dark chocolate and liquorice. A primary red cherry fruit core is upheld from start to very long finish, accented by silky, plush, textural tannins. $47 at Dan’s.
