Bollinger R.D. 2008 Dinner and The Art of Blending Special Cuvée Masterclass 19 July 2023

It’s my great pleasure to invite you to an intimate dinner and masterclass to celebrate the launch of Bollinger R.D. 2008 and The Art of Blending Special Cuvée Masterclass with Bollinger’s new Chef de Cave Denis Bunner on his very first visit to Australia at La Cache à Vín on Wednesday 19 July 2023.

The complexity and richness of Special Cuvée is unparalleled among the entry non-vintage blends of every champagne house, with a grand recipe like no other, built on incredible depth of 50–60% reserves. Denis will present a unique insight into its blending through a tasting of ten vins clairs, reserve wines and blends in the only public masterclass that he will host in Australia this year.

The masterclass will flow into dinner, during which Denis will introduce six Bollinger cuvées, culminating in the brilliant new release of R.D. 2008, one of the greatest vintages from this lauded house in recent decades.

I have long respected Denis as a humble, intuitive and talented member of the Bollinger winemaking team, and I could not be more confident in the future of one of my top five champagne houses under its new leader. I am very much looking forward to introducing him to you on 19 July.

This intimate masterclass and dinner is reserved for just 19 guests.
