Elefante Garnacha Vino Tinto Espana
Looking for a new house red for BBQ quaffing? A brand new musketeer has joined Elefante’s popular bargain duo, and it’s set to create quite a stir after landing in Australia for the first time just this week, not least because it’s about to hit the streets at $10. The big news is that it’s even better than Spain’s top-selling red wine in this country. It’s an authentic and structured grenache which sets a dynamic contrast between blackberry, plum and liquorice fruit, subtle herbal complexity and firm, fine rustic tannins. This is declassified Campo de Borja from north-eastern Spain – not classified, because that would only make it more expensive.
