This wine upholds precision in its spectrum of lemon blossom, lime and granny smith apple fruit that few achieve in Eden Valley in 2015. Fresh and lively, with classic Leonay acid drive, it’s well controlled and long. It’s on rails, with exceptional focus and drive and slatey mineral mouth feel. A subtle touch of phenolic grip on the finish is reflective of the season, which won’t go down among the longest lived, though this is a highlight of the vintage. Single vineyard Woodbury Vineyard.
