Australia’s cool sparkling island state finds itself poised at the precipice of a very unique and privileged opportunity right now. Its wines are more refined with each passing vintage. Plantings have never been stronger. The grape glut that was anticipated has not materialised and grape prices have instead hit record highs. And the world simply can’t get enough of Tasmanian sparkling.
