Together with Charles Heidsieck Managing Director, Stephen Leroux, and introducing new Chef de Cave, Émilien Érard, it’s my great pleasure to invite you to join me for the greatest Charles events I have ever hosted in Australia: dinner to celebrate the launch of Champagne Charlie Mis en Cave 2020 and Blanc des Millénaires 2017, and an extraordinary Collection Crayère masterclass showcasing the greatest vintages of the 1980s and 1990s at Winnifred’s on 28 March 2026!

This back-to-back masterclass and dinner experience celebrates Émilien’s first visit to Australia in his new role as custodian of this beloved house, one of just four worthy of my top ranking of 10/10 in The Champagne Guide! Sneak previews of the new releases of his top two cuvées present a unique perspective on the modern evolution of Charles Heidsieck, while a retrospective direct from its fabled 3rd century crayères will delve forty years back into its grand history.

The resurrection of Champagne Charlie in 2022 was one of the most anticipated prestige releases of the modern era, and the unveiling of its successor comes with tremendous anticipation! Its first showing coincides with the debut of the new vintage of Blanc des Millénaires, consistently ranking high among Champagne’s most outstanding blanc de blancs.

The opportunity to experience such a collection, presented in person by both Stephen and Émilien, make these the greatest Charles events I have ever hosted in Australia!

Guests of my dinners and Champagne Tours have come to love Stephen’s rousing charisma, warm welcome, bountiful generosity, and refreshing candour.

Together with Émilien, we will present seven cuvées spanning four decades in masterclass format, matched with six canapés, followed by dinner with nine cuvées, matched with five courses.
