Together with Queensland Ballet, it’s my great pleasure to invite you to join me for a dinner to share seven of my favourite wines of Europe at the Thomas Dixon Centre on Saturday 30 May.

Along with a number of wine-loving friends on the board of Queensland Ballet, I have long sought an opportunity to celebrate their revitalised Thomas Dixon Centre, home of Queensland Ballet since 1991. My inaugural collaboration with the ballet, our night will be a grand celebration of the ballet, its home and Layla restaurant!

We will share seven of the great wines of Germany, Italy and most of all France: three champagnes including Bollinger La Grande Année 2015 and Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 2015 en magnum, German riesling, white Burgundy, Barolo and Sauternes, paired with a six-course menu created by Layla chef Shane Delia.

$50 from each ticket will be donated to Queensland Ballet.
