I love this wine and I was most disappointed to learn from parent company Accolade that it will not be released, and no longer be made as a museum release because it was too hard to sell at $32. Hence my delight to discover that you can still partake in its joys, as a cleanskin for $10 at Get Wines Direct. It’s currently at the perfect moment of its maturity, when complexity of buttered toast, roast nuts and preserved lemon rind finds an effortless balance with the primary, zesty, crunchy fresh lemon notes of youth. A wine of excellent length and fine texture, building an enticing softness, while upholding the definition of its structure.
