The New Egly-Ouriet Dinner – 10 February 2023

Together with Francis and Clémence Egly, it’s my immense privilege to invite you to dinner at Quay Restaurant to introduce the new Egly-Ouriet: the greatest grower of sparkling in the world today.

Egly-Ouriet is Champagne’s finest grower, and my only 10/10 récoltant. Francis Egly’s fabled domain in Ambonnay enjoys a deserved cult status shared by no other grower on the Montagne de Reims. And things are on the move at this beloved estate.

It’s the dawning of a new era at Egly-Ouriet, as Francis is now assisted by his daughter Clémence and his son Charles. Together they have extended their sourcing from Ambonnay, Verzenay, Bouzy and Vrigny to encompass Bisseuil and Trigny, introducing new cuvées to showcase these terroirs.

Join me to discover the new Egly-Ouriet as we explore the full and complete range of nine cuvées including Champagne’s finest blanc de noirs, Vieilles Vignes Les Crayères, and the greatest coteaux champenois of all, Egly-Ouriet Ambonnay Rouge.

Produced in miniscule quantities, the cuvées of Egly-Ouriet are becoming frightfully scarce, and boasting ever-spiralling prices. Join me for this rare opportunity to meet Francis and Clémence in person, and to discover the personalities, the stories and the magic behind their remarkable champagnes!
